Metabolic control analysis

Metabolic control analysis (MCA) investigates the control of biochemical fluxes and its distribution among different enzymes by analysing the influence of a fractional change in the activity of involved enzymes on the flux of the whole system. It is a special application of sensitivity analysis. Metabolic control analysis shares some concepts with metabolic flux analysis.
